Corporate Partnership Representative

Position overview

Heart on Main Street is seeking a highly motivated, results-driven Corporate Partnership Representative to identify, cultivate, and secure sponsorships, donations, and strategic partnerships that support our mission.

This is a commission-based independent contractor role, ideal for an experienced sales professional, sponsorship specialist, business development representative, or relationship manager with a proven track record of generating revenue and building partnerships. You'll expand our network of corporate supporters, vendor partners, sponsors, and donors while raising awareness of our mission across the retail industry.

What you'll do

  • Identify and pursue new corporate sponsorship opportunities.
  • Secure annual partners for the Heart on Main Street Seal Program.
  • Develop relationships with retailers, vendors, manufacturers, sales agencies, and industry leaders.
  • Generate sponsorship revenue for events, campaigns, and fundraising initiatives.
  • Cultivate and steward prospective corporate donors.
  • Present partnership opportunities to prospective supporters.
  • Maintain accurate records of outreach and partnership activity.
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop customized sponsorship opportunities.
  • Represent Heart on Main Street professionally at industry events, markets, and networking functions.

What we're looking for

  • A proven track record securing sponsorships, donations, partnerships, or sales revenue.
  • Experience in nonprofit fundraising, sponsorship sales, business development, or corporate partnerships.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently.
  • An existing network within retail, gift, home, apparel, wholesale, or consumer goods (highly preferred).
  • Demonstrated ability to close agreements and exceed revenue goals.

Compensation

This is a commission-only independent contractor position. Compensation may include:

  • Commission on new corporate sponsorships secured.
  • Commission on Seal Program memberships secured.
  • Commission on major gifts and partnership agreements originated and closed.
  • Additional performance incentives for exceptional results.
Commission structure will be discussed with qualified candidates.
